Installer Show 2026 - Three days of innovation, connections and the future of renewable energy

In June, the Failte Solar UK & IRE team travelled to the NEC Birmingham to attend the Installer Show 2026, one of the UK's largest trade events for the installation and renewable energy industry.

Bringing together thousands of installers, manufacturers, distributors and industry professionals, the event provided an excellent opportunity to explore the latest technologies, strengthen relationships with installers and gain valuable insight into the future of the sector. The Installer Show has grown into one of the UK's leading events for heat, water, air, electrical and renewable energy professionals, attracting over 40,000 visitors and hundreds of exhibitors from across Europe.

A Showcase of Renewable Innovation

This year's exhibition highlighted the rapid pace of innovation across the renewable energy market. From advanced battery storage and smart energy management systems to EV charging solutions and solar technologies, the event demonstrated how the industry continues to evolve to meet growing demand.

 

With sustainability remaining at the forefront of the energy transition, it was encouraging to see manufacturers introducing new products designed to improve efficiency, simplify installation and deliver greater value for both installers and homeowners.

 

Meeting Installers Face-to-Face

One of the biggest advantages of attending InstallerSHOW is the opportunity to meet directly with installers from across the UK.

 

Throughout the three-day event, our team spoke with existing customers, welcomed new faces and discussed the opportunities and challenges currently shaping the renewable energy industry. These conversations are invaluable, helping us better understand what installers need from their distribution partners while strengthening the relationships that drive our business forward.

 

Events like the Installer Show remind us that while technology continues to evolve, strong partnerships remain at the heart of the industry.

Looking Ahead

The renewable energy sector continues to grow at an incredible pace, and events like the Installer Show provide an excellent snapshot of where the industry is heading.

 

We returned from Birmingham inspired by the innovation on display, the quality of conversations we had and the opportunities ahead for installers throughout the UK and Ireland.
