Portroe GAA Continue Their Winning Momentum with North Final Victory – Powered by Community Connect with Fáilte Solar

At Fáilte Solar, we believe that strong communities are built on ambition, teamwork and investing in the future. That's why we were incredibly proud to announce our three-year full club sponsorship of Portroe GAA earlier this year; a partnership built on shared values of progress, sustainability and long-term success.

Those values were on full display as Portroe GAA claimed a superb North Tipperary Intermediate Hurling Final victory over Newport, winning 0-24 to 1-16 in a fantastic display of determination and skill.

A Partnership Built for the Future

Our sponsorship of Portroe GAA extends far beyond a logo on a jersey. Through our Community Connect programme, Fáilte Solar is committed to helping local clubs thrive by supporting players of all ages, strengthening club identity and investing in future generations.

As Ireland's leading distributor of solar energy solutions and the exclusive Platinum distributor of Sigenergy, we know that lasting success comes from building strong foundations. That same philosophy exists within Portroe GAA, where dedication, community spirit and hard work continue to deliver results both on and off the pitch.

Champions on the Pitch

Saturday's North Final was another memorable chapter in the club's proud history. Facing a strong Newport side, Portroe produced an outstanding team performance, combining disciplined defending with clinical scoring to lift the North title.

The victory reflects the commitment of the players, management team, volunteers and supporters who work tirelessly throughout the year. Success like this doesn't happen overnight, it is earned through countless hours of training, sacrifice and community support.

Everyone at Fáilte Solar extends our sincere congratulations to the entire Portroe GAA family on this fantastic achievement.

More Than Sponsorship

At Fáilte Solar, we are passionate about powering Irish communities, not only through smarter, cleaner energy solutions but also by supporting the organisations that bring people together.

Sport has an incredible ability to inspire young people, strengthen local communities and create lifelong memories. We are honoured to play a small part in Portroe GAA's journey and look forward to celebrating many more successes over the next three years.

Congratulations once again to Portroe GAA on a deserved North Final victory. Here's to an exciting championship ahead and a bright future for the club.

From everyone at Fáilte Solar – Up the Port!
