Solar & Storage Live UK 2026: Fáilte Solar Brings the Future of Energy to Birmingham

Solar & Storage Live UK 2026 brought together thousands of installers, manufacturers, distributors and energy professionals at the NEC Birmingham from 22–24 September, creating three days of conversations, product demonstrations and insights into the future of solar, storage and energy management. The event featured more than 500 exhibitors and 250 speakers across residential, commercial and utility-scale applications.

For Fáilte Solar, it was an opportunity to showcase our growing UK presence, meet installers and industry partners, and put some of the latest Sigenergy technology directly in front of the people who will be designing and installing the energy systems of the future.

A Stand Designed to Make an Impact

From the moment visitors entered the hall, the Fáilte Solar and Sigenergy stand was designed to stand out.

Our striking stand brought together Fáilte Solar branding and Sigenergy technology, giving visitors the opportunity to explore our product offering and speak directly with our team about solar, battery storage, energy management and EV charging.

The show was about much more than displaying products. It was about making connections.

Across the three days, our team welcomed installers, businesses, customers and industry professionals. We had conversations about current projects, upcoming installations, new technologies and the opportunities available within the rapidly evolving solar and storage market.

Introducing SigenStor Neo

One of the key products attracting attention at the show was SigenStor Neo, Sigenergy's latest energy storage solution.

The SigenStor ecosystem brings together solar generation, energy storage, intelligent energy management and EV charging into an integrated system. Sigenergy describes SigenStor as a 5-in-1 energy storage system, combining the solar inverter, EV DC charger, battery PCS, battery pack and energy management system. 

At the Fáilte Solar stand, visitors could get a closer look at SigenStor Neo and learn more about its approach to simplifying energy management. 

The technology on display highlighted features including:

• 0ms load-side disruption
• IP66 protection
• Multiple layers of battery protection
• Intelligent energy management
• Modular energy storage
• Integration with EV charging

For installers, the conversation was not simply about what the technology can do, but how it can be applied to real customer projects.

From Solar to Storage and Beyond

One of the biggest themes running throughout Solar & Storage Live UK was the continued move towards integrated energy systems.

Solar is no longer simply about generating electricity during daylight hours. With battery storage, intelligent energy management, EV charging and technologies such as vehicle-to-home applications becoming increasingly interconnected, the opportunity is to manage energy as a complete ecosystem.

Sigenergy's SigenStor platform reflects this approach, with its integrated architecture designed to combine generation, storage, charging and energy management. The system can also support V2X functionality where compatible vehicles and relevant infrastructure are available.

For installers, this opens up new conversations with homeowners and businesses about how energy can be generated, stored and used more intelligently.

Celebrating Partnership at the Sigenergy Awards

Solar & Storage Live UK 2026 was about more than products, technology and business. It was also an opportunity to celebrate the partnerships that continue to drive innovation across the renewable energy industry.

During our time in Birmingham, the Fáilte Solar team was delighted to attend the Sigenergy Awards, an evening bringing together Sigenergy partners from across the UK and Ireland to recognise achievements, celebrate collaboration and look towards the future of energy.

The evening provided a fantastic opportunity to step away from the busy show floor and spend time with fellow Sigenergy partners, industry colleagues and the wider Sigenergy team.

With more than 300 valued partners coming together, the evening was a celebration of the progress being made across the industry and the relationships behind it.

For Fáilte Solar, our partnership with Sigenergy continues to be an important part of our work as we support installers across Ireland and the UK with innovative energy storage, solar and EV charging solutions.

We were proud to be part of the evening and to celebrate alongside the wider Sigenergy community.
